WHO WE ARE

Intercultural Dialogue and Global Education, IDGE, is an academic engagement and dissemination platform developed in connection with the British Council project. Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia (AELLCA) The platform supports knowledge exchange, public engagement, and collaborative dissemination in the areas of intercultural dialogue, English language education, teacher development, and global and multilingual education. With a focus on Central Asia and connected international contexts, IDGE provides a space for sharing project outputs, educational practice, research-informed reflection, events, media materials, and future collaboration opportunities. IDGE has been established to support the dissemination of outputs linked to the British Council AELLCA project, promote dialogue among educators, researchers,  students, practitioners, and partner institutions, increase the visibility of educational perspectives from Central Asia and other underrepresented contexts, and encourage sustainable collaboration across regional and international networks.

IDGE is currently a project dissemination and knowledge exchange platform rather than a formally registered academic journal. Selected outputs may be linked to external open access publishing partners, including All Terrain, where appropriate.
